Recovery deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. That’s why we’re excited to share that Mobilize Recovery’s Campus Surge 2025 is coming to Rutgers University–New Brunswick on Monday, November 3. This national initiative is focused on empowering college communities to take action around substance use and mental health, and this event is a powerful example of what recovery advocacy can look like on campus.
The evening will include a resource fair with experts and advocates, harm reduction resources like naloxone and fentanyl test strips, and a keynote panel featuring voices making change in the addiction and recovery space. Attendees will also enjoy a live performance by country singer and 2022 American Idol winner Noah Thompson, as well as a special premiere of The History of Collegiate Recovery at Rutgers.
Events like this remind us that recovery is happening all around us, and it’s something we must continue to invest in. We commend Rutgers and Mobilize Recovery for creating space for students, families, and advocates to come together in hope and action.
