As you may be aware, October 6 is Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day throughout New Jersey and I hope you can join us to be part of the initiative!
To make it easier for you to participate, PDFNJ will host two Free Resource Distribution Days where you can pick up complimentary educational materials to use in your local outreach efforts.
The opioid crisis continues to evolve, and so does the need for education and awareness. From prescription opioids to illicitly manufactured fentanyl and other emerging substances, New Jersey communities continue to face new challenges and risks.
That is why the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey (PDFNJ) is once again calling on residents, students, schools, healthcare professionals, community organizations, businesses, and local leaders to come together on October 6 to raise awareness and educate others about the risks of opioid misuse and addiction. You can help by starting a conversation with your family, sharing information with friends and neighbors, providing resources to your patients or clients, or helping your school, workplace, organization, or community spread the message.
